So here I sit on this cold wintery day, in TN. Now if this were WI, I would definitely be at school (in fact WI people please don't laugh) but I live in E. TN so we don't have school... for the 2nd day.... and we were released early on Monday. :)
But I am not one to complain. I am enjoying my chat groups, catching up on lesson plans, washing diapers, working out, and eventually cleaning my house. Life is good. I am sipping some hot herbal tea (I have recently discovered Tazo Calm = yummy) watching the snow blow around (or is it still falling?), and feeling nostalgic for WI.
Until I step outside. It is 21 degrees. Brrr for TN. Warm for WI. It was down to 0 this morning so it was cold. You really forget what cold feels like until it hits you and seeps into your bones. I HATE being cold. I would 10 times over prefer sweating to freezing. At least when you are hot you can cool down, but once you're cold it settles in.
So, I sit inside, pull my warm dog (or cat, whoever is closest) close to me, drink warm drinks, and try not to think of turning up the thermostat. And we WANT to move back to WI??
But leave to TN to bring me my 60 degree weather again this weekend!!
