I'm so sorry!!

It has been waaaay too long since I've blogged. It's been a bit busy around here. As if that was an excuse.

So let's do this in fast forward style.

Are you ready for a quick recap?? Here we go!!

Emmett was 3 months old when we left. Look at how little he was!! Awww

It was a busy summer – swimming with friends and hanging out at Market Square (when the fountains were on that is).

 Emmett at 4 months!!

Getting my classroom ready for school. Come on, you know you wish you could be in my classroom!

Emmett at 5 months!

Anna is always ready for a picture!

Of course fall in TN always brings opportunities for hikes in the mountains.

Sitting in a high chair for the first time!

Go Vols!!

Emmett turns 6 months old and Anna poses so prettily.

Halloween!! Who doesn’t love a little person in costume? Of course, you may be asking your self – “Who is the AWESOME lego man?” That creation is….. Jon!! I’m not sure how he is going to top that costume next year.

And then the job interview in New Orleans… Ah, talk about exciting!! We drove down, stayed 2 nights, and explored the city a little.

Emmett is 7 months old!

Anna enjoyed the beignets and Jon enjoyed the coffee.

And who is that distinguished gentleman?

Visiting Moundville, Al

After flying to La Crosse for an intensive couple of days of interviewing, job talks, and presentations… That is Professor Baker!!

That is right! If you hadn’t heard it yet, we are moving back to La Crosse. House has been listed, cleaned, painted, and fixed up as much as we can. Anna has been registered for preK in the La Crosse School District and it looks like we have a duplex lined up. I’m refusing to examine my feelings about leaving Knoxville, I have so many swirling around… That is for a future blog (that’s right, I’m promising more blogs sooner than 6 months apart).

Holidays were spent in WI with family.

 Emmett at 8 months old!!

Finally, Anna turned 4! Wow, that just seems incredibly unreal! Yikes. And she is full of sass and opinion. We are loving (almost) every minute of it!

Emmett at 9 months old!!

Things have been busy, busy, busy!  We are looking forward to this new chapter in our life but also trying to fit in as many memories of TN as we can while we are in the area. Stay tuned for more pictures and updates!
